I loved the sweet old dog and the young dog. I appreciated the pragmatic acceptance of the old dog and the journey of the young dog. Sweet and a few tears shed as I just said goodbye to my sweet old dog Lily who I was blessed to share life with.

This is a great book for both new and experienced Stoics. For those new to the philosophy of Stoicism, it's a great introduction to the basic principles of Stoicism. For more experienced Stoics, it is a wonderful refresher. The author presents Stoicism in a refreshingly simple and down to earth fashion. I really enjoy his writing style. The book is a short and easy read (I read it during a two hour flight home from our summer vacation), but don't mistake it's shortness for a lack of substance. The author is able to present the core tenants of Stoicism is a sweet and simple fashion. It's a great little book on Stoicism...just like the title says!

Well written, easy to read & the nice illustrations definitely set it apart from all the other stoicism books out there. Doesn't really go too deep into the philosophy of stoicism, but most people probably won't mind. I especially liked the little "stoic fables" that the author added throughout the book.

I love the Little Book Of Stoic Quotes!!! I purchased 2 so I could share them with my grandchildren.
The quotes are great for starting conversations.

I have a question. Is the print on the pages small? I need a bigger print.

Great story. Stoicism made simple but truly valuable lessons in how to live.

Well, I’m not quite sure what to make of it yet. Stoicism seems a bit abstract. The book is consistent with that for me. It does give me something to think about!

Nice book. Arrived fast. Can't wait to read it. Love the illustrations.

Not what I expected

A very sweet story not too long for children I would be a student buying another book of

Disappointed. It is small like a child book with nine pages of like pages small print. Didn't bother to read. In nine pages while a good topic, the story and characters cannot be developed into a full novel or article.

These books are excellent. The provide excellent stories which show what Stoicism is all about. The art is excellent as well. I read a lot of books on Stoicism and it is nice to read fables and allegories about Stoic principles. Everyone need to get copies of these books. They are uplifting.

Great lessons for life

Interesting take on a book.

Lovely book. After everyone in my house has read it (it stays on the coffee table), it goes to my granddaughters.
