I should have ordered this months ago when I first saw it. It sat in my “save for later” cart for entirely too long. After reading the first half of the book myself I am confident this is a must have for my Littles and everyone else in my household alike.

I loved the sweet old dog and the young dog. I appreciated the pragmatic acceptance of the old dog and the journey of the young dog. Sweet and a few tears shed as I just said goodbye to my sweet old dog Lily who I was blessed to share life with.

This is a great book for both new and experienced Stoics. For those new to the philosophy of Stoicism, it's a great introduction to the basic principles of Stoicism. For more experienced Stoics, it is a wonderful refresher. The author presents Stoicism in a refreshingly simple and down to earth fashion. I really enjoy his writing style. The book is a short and easy read (I read it during a two hour flight home from our summer vacation), but don't mistake it's shortness for a lack of substance. The author is able to present the core tenants of Stoicism is a sweet and simple fashion. It's a great little book on Stoicism...just like the title says!

Well written, easy to read & the nice illustrations definitely set it apart from all the other stoicism books out there. Doesn't really go too deep into the philosophy of stoicism, but most people probably won't mind. I especially liked the little "stoic fables" that the author added throughout the book.

Very subtle story that grabs your interest from the start. Builds as a crescendo to the beautiful releasing conclusion. Loved it.

Wonderfully simple book with great art work. As a soldier who believed he had come to terms with the transition of life, to lose my wife who has fought MS for over 30 years, I was no longer sure about how to address feelings or future. I sat down and read this book with my Service Dog and by the end was returning to peace. Great story to introduce children. Sending it to my daughter for the grand children.

I’m totally satisfied with my books, and recommend them.
